The Sentinel HD55S is GenTree Home's core recommendation for a typical crawlspace or basement of up to about 1,300 square feet. It removes up to 55 pints of moisture a day under standard AHAM test conditions (up to 120 pints a day in saturated air), keeping the air drier around wood framing, insulation and stored belongings, around the clock.
It drains by gravity, so it needs a floor drain, sump or other low point the hose can run down to. If your crawlspace has no place for water to flow downhill, choose a model with a built-in pump, such as the Sentinel HD35P or HDi90.
