PRODUCT DETAILS
Standing up from a low seat is one of those small daily movements that gets harder quietly. Many people notice it at the toilet first, because it is a low seat they use several times a day, often without anything sturdy to push against.
The BL1 is the simplest lift in the Dignity Lifts line. It sits over your existing toilet and raises the seat slowly when you press a button, so you rise toward standing at a gentle pace instead of pushing up from a low position.
We selected the BL1 for homes with a standard-height toilet and an outlet nearby, where a straightforward, plug-in lift makes sense.

Checking the fit before you order
Measure from the center of your toilet bowl to the nearest wall, tub, or vanity on each side, and check your toilet rim height. Toilets with a tank that flares sharply forward at the base may not fit. Dignity Lifts publishes a short "Will it fit?" guide, and we are glad to walk through your measurements with you before you order.
Returns: please read before ordering
Toilet lifts follow the Dignity Lifts return policy, not our standard 30-day return.
- Within 30 days of purchase, Dignity Lifts accepts an unopened box with the outer strapping intact (10% restocking fee), or a lift that could not be installed, returned with all parts in the original box and packing (20% restocking fee).
- A lift that has been used, or whose toilet-seat protective wrap has been removed, cannot be returned.
- Lifts without their original box and packing materials cannot be returned, so please keep them until you are sure the lift fits.
- Contact us before sending anything back, and we will arrange the return with Dignity Lifts.

Good to know
A toilet lift is a piece of home equipment, not a medical treatment. If you are unsure whether a lift suits someone's needs, it is worth discussing with an occupational therapist or physician. Ships by UPS Ground directly from Dignity Lifts in Troy, Michigan. Check current specifications and installation requirements with us or the manufacturer before ordering.
